“One of the highlights of yesterday’s show was when little Zoya Syguda, a 12-year-old Polish girl who has been playing the violin for only 3.5 years, but is so talented that she has made it to the semi-finals of Virtuoso V4+ – well, when this little girl talked in her debut film about not having her own instrument and coming to Budapest to buy a violin with the prize money… her plea touched our hearts. And luckily, when master violin maker Pal Racz heard Zoya’s story, he was not hesitant to rush home from his holiday to give her the instrument she had been longing for.
